Board of Directors

David joined the CREST Board almost 40 years ago and currently serve as Chairman. Professionally, he has been a banker/mortgage banker his entire career. He founded CMCF, Inc. (Carolina Mortgage Company) in 1986 and continues to work in the field with Alcova Mortgage. He also serves on the board of Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity as President Elect and am Treasurer of Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation. David received his undergraduate degree and MBA degree from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Michael is a retired educator and has served on the CREST executive board for many years. He has also served as interim director during transition and brings sound business advice to the organization

Stephanie is a local artist and philanthropist who has been involved with the CREST organization for many years. CREST is a special organization to Stephanie as she has family who are affected by disabilities. Stephanie is committed to fundraising and making resources available for these persons with disabilities and their families.

Betty is a retired education working with children and adults with special needs. She has been involved with CREST for many years and has a family member who has receives services at CREST. She brings history and wisdom to the board and is valued for her insight in helping to support people with disabilities in the community.

Toni is a current county commissioner for the county of Cumberland NC. She joined our board in 2020 and has an affinity for helping the disabled and disadvantaged. Her background includes former director of a local shelter for homeless women, and various community organizations.
Executive Director

Kelvin has more than 37 years experience in human services, assisting families and individuals through public and private human service organizations and programs. Kelvin joined CREST in 2018 and has been working hard with staff to update programs and services, promote the organization and its benefits, and identify and funding and resources. He is very active in various community organizations and activities that help advance the quality of life for people with disabilities.
